Back Pain

Back pain is among the most common form of injuries in adults. Causes of back pain may be attributed to many types of injuries such as damage to intervertebral discs, spinal joints and associated ligaments, muscles and tendons (sprain/strains). When the vertebra of the lumbar spine is misaligned, it can cause nerve pressure which can lead to pain and inflammation of the surrounding muscles and soft tissues. Stress from excessive sporting activities or being overweight can also be contributing factors to back pain.

Chiropractic care has been shown to be more effective and having longer-lasting outcomes than any other methods of treatment. Unlike painkillers and muscle relaxants that only mask the pain, chiropractors go to the root source of the problem in order to alleviate pain by correcting any spinal misalignment and restoring balance and function to the nervous system.
