Neck Pain

Neck problems are very common in today’s world, where the pain can arise from many different sources like poor posture to auto accidents. With the advancement of technology, many people are spending a lot of time on computers and other mobile devices, often resulting in poor posture. Over time, such repetitive and prolonged poor posture can cause negative changes in the neck’s natural curvature.

Whiplash injuries, on the other hand, are caused by the sudden flexion and extension of the neck, which can damage underlying soft tissue and can have a delayed onset of symptoms, manifesting with pain and stiffness lasting anywhere from a few days later to months or even years later.

All of these factors can trigger the muscles, ligaments, and tendons within the neck to become stiffer and tighter over time. It ultimately leads to misalignment of the cervical vertebrae (neck bones). Left uncorrected, it can lead to premature degeneration of the cervical spine.

Chiropractic can help relieve neck pain and correct any misalignment of the cervical spine. It is proven to be a longer lasting and more effective treatment than regular massage, painkillers or muscle relaxants, which only mask the pain but cannot correct a problem that is structural alignment in nature.
