Infrared Light Therapy

Infrared light therapy is a safe and effective method for alleviating muscle soreness, reducing acute and chronic pain conditions and speeding up muscle recovery. It is simple and painless therapy that helps to manage a wide array of conditions such as osteoarthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis. The therapy uses specific wavelengths of light that penetrates to the deeper layers of the skin at about 2 to 7 centimetres deep. The Infrared light helps cells regenerate and repair itself, and also improves the circulation of oxygen-rich blood in the body, promoting faster healing of deep tissues and relieving pain. Studies have shown that a frequency of infrared light, with wavelengths from 700 to 1,000 nanometres, is best used for healing inflammatory conditions.
