Headaches & Migraines

Headaches are very common and yet very different in their natures. There are the primary headaches which have no known cause of origin and secondary headaches which usually are a result of head trauma, and brain haemorrhages. Then there are cluster headaches, which is a neurological disorder characterized by recurrent severe headaches on one side of the head, typically around the eye.

Most people readily treat their headaches with over the counter medication, but this only serves to mask the symptom of pain and ultimately not addressing the root problem causing it in the first place. While sunlight, stress, or even certain foods may exacerbate or aggravate the problem, chiropractic care has been proven to be highly effective in reducing the pain over time and by relieving the nerve pressure causing the interference.
